Responsibilities:
- Assure supplier complience of Hoerbiger Global Purchasing Guidelines and negotiate local contracts.
- Follow up implementation dates of cost saving measures and monitor overall material cost level.
- Key interface with local suppliers to clarify project expectations and overcome implementation barriers.
- Provide new projects material cost and leadtime estimations.
- Support logistic team to control inventories at implementation phase and optmize delivery times.
- Support implementation of Purchasing Global Initiatives in China and reporting of local activities.
- Define with Purchasing Management make/buy strategies and purchsing volume share for each supplier.
- Negotiate supplier tools and support budgeting activities to anticipate CAPEX needs.
- Support commodity buyers to identify suitable suppliers in China for Truck Application related Commodities.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Administration, Engineering or Business related areas.
Knowledge about Automotive Supply Chain Processes (APQP, commercial requirements, etc.).
Knowledge about Production Processes of Die Casting, Turning & Milling is a plus.
Commercial experience and supplier base network in China is a plus.
